Coming Back To Disneyland In Early 2020: Lunar New Year and Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival
Disneyland Resort is bringing back two popular events in the beginning of 2020: Lunar New Year and Disney California Food & Wine Festival.
The Lunar New Year celebrations will be in Disney California Adventure park from January 17 to February 9. Lunar New Year is a festive celebration from Chinese, Korean, and Vietnamese cultures and Disney will be honoring this joyous celebration with “cannot miss” multicultural performances celebrating the Year of the Mouse along with your favorite Disney characters donning traditional attire just for this special occasion. Authentic cuisine will be available along with specialty merchandise and fun activities for kids and kids at heart. “Mulan’s Lunar New Year Procession,” will be coming back next year and will be hosted my Mulan and her faithful friend, Mushu.
The very popular Disney California Food & Wine Festival, where foodies can eat and drink their way through California-inspired cuisine, is coming back from February 28 through April 21. Not only will there be food but also returning will be live entertainment, food seminars, and demonstrations. With more than a dozen Festival Marketplaces featuring small bites, wine, and beer; rest assured there will be something for everyone. The ever popular Sip and Savor Pass will be back for all guests to purchase as well as a brand new line of merchandise featuring apparel, festival-themed headwear, kitchen gadgets, and home decor. Get your future little chefs ready because Chef Goofy is back and ready to teach with hands-on “cooking” experiences! More information about the food seminars, demonstrations, and food booth menus will be released at future date.
