Disney World Releases Sneak Peak at New Sorcerer Card for Magic Kingdom's Christmas Party

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is coming back to Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World this Friday, November 8th. Disney gave a sneak peak at the new Party-exclusive Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom card that attendees of the special event can pick up during the night. 

According to Imagineer Jonathan Ackley, “while gazing into his crystal ball, Merlin caught sight of the mischievous chipmunks Chip and Dale. The scampering scamps were playing a festive trick on the unwary Pluto the Pup,” he said. “When he finished laughing at their Holiday Hijinks, Merlin decided to create a magical spell in their honor. Now the Sorcerers attending Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party can learn this spell, ‘Pluto’s Toppling Popcorn.’ With it, they can defend the realm of the Magic Kingdom…deliciously!”

For the readers who are unfamiliar with Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom, this is an interactive experience only available in Magic Kingdom park. Guests of all ages can join Merlin and help him defeat Disney villains from taking over Magic Kingdom. Guests will visit magic portals around the park to search for villains and cast spells using the cards to fight back against the villains. Guests who are interested in participating can begin their journey at the Firehouse on Main Street, U.S.A, where they can acquire the items needed to play. No Purchase is necessary- only valid park admission.
