Just Released: Disneyland Paris Announces New Experiences Coming In 2020 and Beyond
During the Parks and Resorts Panel at the D23 Expo, we were able to take a sneak peak of the new hotel coming to Disneyland Paris along with some other new offerings coming to the park. This morning, at the very first Disneyland Paris Media Expo, we dive in a little further on everything that will be happening at this fantastic resort in 2020 and beyond.
Disney’s Hotel New York - The Art of Marvel
Opening Summer 2020
This new contemporary Art Deco style hotel will celebrate 80 years of Marvel storytelling by paying tribute to the home of so many memorable Marvel Super Heroes, New York City. Disney’s Hotel New York - The Art of Marvel will be inspired by a New York art gallery where guests can admire the Marvel characters and the artists who created them.
The hotel will be the very first Disney hotel to have encounters with Marvel Super Heroes at Super Hero Station and will be the very first hotel to be dedicated to Marvel art. This will be one of the largest public collections of Marvel artwork in the world.
Starting November 5, 2019, guests will be able to book their stay at Disney’s Hotel New York - The Art of Marvel which is opening summer 2020.
Marvel Super Heroes Season
March 24 through June 7, 2020
Starting next spring, the Marvel Super Heroes will be back for the third time at Walt Disney Studios Park. Epic Shows and experiences featuring characters we know and love like Spider-Man, Iron Man, Captain America, Captain Marvel and more will bring the Marvel Universe to life.
Avengers Campus
Recruitment begins in 2021
Opening in Walt Disney Studios Park, this new Marvel-themed area called Avengers Campus will be linked with the Avengers Campus that is opening in Disney California Adventure Park at the Disneyland Resort. Guests will enjoy attractions that will take them on an action-packed adventure, encounter heroes from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and even eat in new dining locations. This is only part of the multi-year expansion for the park, the other additions include Frozen and Star Wars-themed areas that will be opening in phases beginning 2021.
Frozen Celebration
Jan. 11 through May 3, 2020
Frozen Celebration will be a brand new event at Disneyland Paris that will include a new show that will be on the parade route showing four times a day featuring Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Kristoff, Sven, dazzling acrobats and dancers, along with a new float. A new Frozen inspired float will also be part of the Disney Stars on Parade with some of your favorite characters from Arendelle.
That's not all, a wide range of souvenirs celebrating the beloved characters along with exclusive treats and drinks will be available. To finish off the night, Disney Illuminations, will feature the magical adventures of Anna and Elsa.
Frozen: A Musical Invitation
Beginning Nov. 17, 2019
Guests will be transported to Arendelle in this brand-new interactive adventure at the Animation Celebration in Walt Disney Studios Park. In this experience, guests will be able to interact with some of their favorite characters throughout several stages.
Frozen-Themed Area

Previously mentioned above, a Frozen-themed area will be part of the multi-year expansion of the Walt Disney Studios Park. Guests will visit the kingdom of Arendelle and be fully immersed in the land. In addition to the amazing views of snow-capped mountains, guests will be able to visit with characters, dine in a new restaurant, go shopping, and ride a new attraction that will take visitors to the center of the kingdom.
