Know Before You Go: Dress Code for Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge
Hollywood Studios is about to head to hyperspeed once Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge officially opens to the public on Aug. 29. Guests traveling to Batuu from near and far will be wanting to dress up in the latest fashion trends but there are a few things you need to know before you head to Batuu.
Younglings who are 13 and younger are able to wear costumes and masks to a galaxy far far away. Be sure that the masks do not block their peripheral vision and that the openings allow the eyes to be fully seen at all times.
Guests who are 14 and older who are visiting Black Spire Outpost cannot wear costumes or masks (except during special events where special event costumes apply.) Don’t fret, you can still dress up as your favorite character or as a local Batuuian.
How do you dress up as a local Batuuian? If you stick to subtle earth tones and natural materials that have a handmade look, you will fit right in! You are more than welcome to wear inspired looks from your favorite characters or even droids!
What you can’t wear are armor or uniforms that resemble the First Order Stormtroopers- or a Wookiee.
