Sneak Peek of “Epcot Forever” Which Will Debut In Epcot Starting October 1st
Something new is coming to the lagoon. Beginning October 1, Disney will be replacing “IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth” with a limited-run of “Epcot Forever”, a fresh nighttime display with laser effects, fireworks, and kites timed to music exploring the evolution of Epcot at the Walt Disney World Resort.
The video below was first shared at the recent D23 Expo (by Disney Parks, Experiences and Products Chairman Bob Chapek) gave audiences a glimpse at the efforts behind this spectacle, including the musicians and singers bringing the story of Epcot to life. Animations in the montage give us a concept of Disney’s final product set to appear in less than two weeks. Check it out:
Visitors will be able to catch the performance anywhere in Epcot with a clear view of the World Showcase Lagoon. According to the official entertainment calendar, the show will run at 9pm EST Sunday through Thursday and 10pm EST on Fridays and Saturdays.
Want a prime spot to experience the show? Starting October 1st, guests who purchase the Frozen Ever After Dessert Party at Epcot World Showcase can view “Epcot Forever” from a reserved standing area after dining at a buffet with Frozen themed fare. Prices for the dessert party are $79 per adult and $47 per child (ages 3 to 9) through November 30, 2019. Starting December 1, 2019 prices will increase to $99 per adult and $59 per child (ages 3 to 9).
